Of all the places I’ve lived in on my own (college, post-college, etc.) I have never had a formal dining room. We’ve never really needed a dining room, though, because eating dinner on the coffee table while watching TV is pretty much the best. But I’ve always imagined what my dream dinner table looks like — long, farmhouse-ish, a bench, comfy chairs. Now that we upgraded ourselves from a tiny condo in Atlanta to a lovely house in Germany, we finally have room for that dream. For ya know, when we have guests and stuff (just kidding I do eat breakfast/lunch in there). Since you loved seeing our closet, I just wanted to share our dining room too!

Table, storage and plant are from IKEA. Bench, chairs and wall art is from Momax.
We got married in May, so we had a lot of fun gifts that we got from our registry. We didn’t want to just hide these away in the basement, so we got these fun glass storage/shelves from IKEA to store and showcase everything.
